I thought it was a hilarious piece of work - there were jokes peppered in randomly but not without care. The humour didn't take away the over all mystery of the story but in fact added to it. The cover I find particularly clever with the 'o' in 'knot' being replaced by a noose knot. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily I was absorbed into the plot given that the detective Queen of England isn't usually what I look for in a story.
