I'm undecided about this book. At first it appeared to read more like a children's book; until events took a turn and it clearly became aimed at an older audience. As I read, I became acutely aware that the narrating voice in my head was that of the Queen's (which I'm not entirely sure I would want all the way through!) But there was enough in this extract to keep my interest and to make me want to read on.
