This is such a different take on the Royal family, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this first impression and would love to read more. The story is related from the point of view of Queen Elizabeth II, sharing insights into life at Windsor Palace, making her seem really approachable and intrigued by the happenings there. Selecting the guest list for a party, relating events and pondering just how one of the guests ended up hanging all make for a fascinating start to a story I'd love to read more of. I'll definitely be keeping my fingers crossed for this one!
