The Windsor Knot was a really fun read and quite different to my usual choice of novel. I was drawn to the book by the eye-catching and vibrant colour. I had heard good reviews on Twitter and via Bert's Books so was keen to add it to my "to be read" mountain! I found it really easy to get into and found myself chortling along as I read. The storyline is quirky and although has semi-predictable elements on occasion, overall is a really nicely written book. I think The Windsor Knot would suit those who enjoy crime but perhaps without excessive grit and gore. It is an easy read and would suit a reader who fancies something with a little substance but not too much effort required to keep up with complex plotlines or vast casts of characters. I am curious how this book will be received by readers less familiar with British culture as there are a fair amount of 'in jokes'
