This is a a book for those who liked The Thursday Murder Club (although it’s not quite as good). It’s a comedic murder mystery - a very new genre to me - but quickly becoming a much loved one. The pacing of the book was good - not much waiting around for the good stuff and the characters were really well written. It really feels like a proper royal family novel - a lot of research must have gone into it.
The fact that the main character is the 90 (or 89) year old Queen was really rather delightful - I mean the book even showed her going about her normal day to day business - alongside her being very much spy like. Gosh I don’t think I could multi task had as well.

If you want a somewhat lighthearted murder mystery novel - this is certainly the book for you. I am very much looking forward to the sequel coming out so I can dive back into this ‘Queen ad Sleuth’ world.
