I read this book over a rainy and windy weekend and really enjoyed it! From the beginning of opening the book itself with the bright cover and lovely inside design, I knew I would enjoy it.
It didn’t disappoint. It’s a light read for a detective story and I liked that about it and think it would appeal to many. There were quite a few characters in it, but the story was something different to what I have read and it definitely kept me engaged throughout.
I loved the idea of this novel, and I liked the other references to other members of the family! I visited Windsor a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it, so reading this book took me back to my visit as I could visualise the grounds as I was reading.
I would definitely be keen to read more books if this was to be a series. Overall, a really enjoyable read and one that I would recommend to others.
