This is the first book in what I understand will be a series featuring Queen Elizabeth II. This is based around the queen being a secret detective, so secret that even her closest confidante don't know about it. When a young pianist dies while staying for a dine and sleep at Windsor Castle the queen feels the need to silently step in and investigate before the press get hold of the wrong version of events. At present it is widely believed to be suicide. The senior police who are investigating are convinced that Russian spys are behind the death but the queen is not convinced although she is prepared to nod and say interesting in all the right places. This is an enjoyable read. I am sure the storylines will become more believable as the series progresses. I would have liked more depth to the characters but maybe that's deliberate so the characters can develop in future books. Worth reading
