I never thought I would read a book about the Queen being a detective but that is exactly what this book is about.
It isn’t a fast pace thriller, more like the programme,Murder,She Wrote, just jogging along at a slow pace.
There was a meet and sleep at Windsor Castle and during it a young Russian played the piano beautifully and danced wonderfully, even with the queen, the next morning though he is found dead in a wardrobe in his bedroom next day and in rather a state of undress. Suicide is at first suspected but then it became quite obvious that it was not and in fact was a murder.
This sets off quite a chain of events involving many different people and the Queen starts to wonder about things as well. She calls on Rozie and between the two of them they decide to bring the murderer to account but doing it in such a way that the police and security think they have worked it all out
