The Windsor Knot by S. J. Bennett caught my attention through it's unique premise, bright cover and entertaining story. Was it believable? Not in the slightest. Was it enjoyable? Completely! The cover of this book instantly caught my eye with it's bright colour and intriguing title, and it definitely didn't disappoint.
There's definitely a huge audience for this kind of novel, a fun, quirky crime novel that doesn't take itself seriously at all. It wasn't brilliantly written but it met the expectations I had for it. I loved all the famous characters that made an appearance, from the Queens own pets to Barack Obama.
