A story about Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth solving a murder at Windsor Castle seems so far fetched that I was expecting an unbelievable story. However, through S.J Bennett’s amazing writing talents the story becomes so life like that it’s hard to believe it’s fiction.
Having a character list that included fictional characters mixed with real members of the royal family and close acquaintance’s brings the book to life. Also referencing real life past events for the royal family gave for a very interesting read.
Over all the book has the story line for crime fiction lovers to enjoy but the class of The Royals that any fan of “The Crown” would enjoy.
Would highly recommend this easy to follow story and look forward to the next installment.
Loved the little sneak preview at the end which entails the second book in the series in 2021 - so will have to keep an eye out for that next year.
