This probably wouldn’t be put down in a list of my favourite books in the world to be honest, but I did get through it and it didn’t take me very long to finish it which would suggest that it was an alright read. The fact I live close to Windsor was the appeal in the first place and I loved reading about areas I know and finding out a little more about what it might be like inside Windsor Castle - not sure how accurate it is though! I did find the whole bunch of characters a bit confusing if I’m honest and several times in the book I was confused about who was who and how they were involved in the story. I did really like the character of Queen Elizabeth and Philip though - I think they were presented to be very likable and both had interesting personalities which felt like you got to know them or what is portrayed of them in the media anyway! All in all 3 stars.
