This was a really inventive take on a murder mystery novel with the Queen in the starring role.
When she has a sleep and dine do at Windsor things seem to be going really well and everyone retires to bed.
But next morning Maksim Brodsky a musician who played the night before is found murdered in his room.
The Queen swings into action ably assisted by her secretary Rozie.
But can she keep this hush hush to save a right Royal scandal hitting the news.
Afraid the killer will attack again its a race against time to solve the case.
Fun and quirky and a right rollicking good laugh this was a refreshing murder mystery with a regal twist.
This was a modern mystery but will probably appeal to fans of the genre in general.
Never read this author before but certainly a name to watch out for and would definitely read her work again as I love the idea of a crime busting Queen!
