This story brought me to a better understanding of her Majesty's daily life.

It was delightful in its execution in that it seemed to bring the reader into the more personal aspects of the hitherto more private goings on in Windsor Castle.
The plot was feasible although a mite unfathomable at times but became believable in its play on the differing routes of investigation by the various security organisations as the story unfolded. It gave the reader an insight into the murky world of MI 5 and the Met.

A delightful tale held together by the thoughts of the woman who leads our nation as it has shown readers the more human side of life in the upper echelons of power.

It also displays some humor with such a grim subject as murder and became the stitching that holds this good story together.

One looks forward to the subsequent books in this series with eager anticipation.
