This book made me laugh out loud a lot. It is written very tongue in cheek and I loved it. After a sleep and dine at Windsor Castle, one of the guest is found dead the next morning. At first it is though that he died accidently, but it appears that that is not the case. The security services are on the case and taking the investigation in a very direct direction. The Queen has other ideas, she doesn't believe that that is what happened and with the help of her Assistant Personal Secretary, Rozie they find out what really did happen.
We get an (imaginary) insight into the Queen's thoughts and her relationship with Prince Phillip, which is hilarious. I could quite imagine Prince Phillip coming out with exactly those comments, his character in this is brilliant and fits in with the public persona that we normally see. I am happy to recommend this to other readers.
