I have read and thoroughly enjoyed Stephanie Butland's previous two novels, both of which had a strong feminist message wrapped up in quirkiness. This time though it seems that the message is still there, but with a more serious tone. This is reflected in the change to the cover style. I'm really looking forward to reading it.
