The book's opening piqued my interest straightaway and made me want to find out more about the relationship between Veronica and Leonie. I also liked the idea that a photograph you see is a carefully constructed image; that your seeing what the photographer wants you to see. I also like the idea of a story about two strong women perhaps ahead of their time. It sounds like a book I would enjoy.
