The girl in the photograph was extremely different to what I was expecting. However, I was unaware that the book was about feminism, but don't let that put you off, it's more about how feminism was and how it was dealt with. It goes between the early days of feminism and current days. It's easy to get to know the characters, and I felt myself warming to them easily. I don't think the cover doesn't this book justice to how good it really is. This is both an interesting and factual book, that takes you on a journey, one that makes you think about after you've reading. I would highly recommend, and hope Stephanie writes more about this subject, as little is known about feminism in the early years.
