In this book it is at first the story of two feminists who meet and want to change how the world perceives women. It all starts at the Ford factory and the women workers who strike. They are doing the same work as men but do not have equal rights or equal pay and have decided to make a stand and make the works aware of their plight. after a photographer - a woman - is sent to take pictures and record the events the stand off for women's equality if about to get a high profile showcase.
When you read this book you realise there has always been differences right through history and although things have progressed with the right for women to be able to vote , things are still not right in the world. We read today how women are treated with different pay on television compared with the money men are paid for the same jobs ...things may be improving but it will need a miracle to get completely equal justice for women
