Katie Fforde's endorsement on the cover says 'a must-read for any feminist'. I would go further and say this book is a must-read for any woman.

This book is beautifully crafted on many levels.

It tells the story of the relationship between a photographer, Veronica (Vee)Moon, and an outspoken women's libber, Leonie, whom she meets in 1968 on the picket line at the Ford Dagenham car plant.
Leonie's niece, Erica, decides to arrange an exhibition of Vee's work and Vee reluctantly helps although she has lived as a recluse since Leonie's death 20 years earlier and now has a terminal illness herself.

Each display at the exhibition and each section of the book is inspired by one of Vee's unique photos and besides an explanation of the photographic process, the reader is treated to a witty editorial by Leonie and facts about relevant world events.

This is a funny, poignant and thought provoking book which I will be recommending to all my friends and acquaintances.
