A good read- easy to follow and still relevant though we have come a long way towards equal pay. It makes you realise how far women have come in the work place we are no longer making ' pin money' but have real money. Though we still do not have equal pay everywhere, as shown by the ladies of the BBC. We are so used to women in charge we forget this has not been the case for long. The book starts at a strike of lady Ford workers and the Photographer and who she meets. The shock of women not being able to buy drinks in a pub and the need for determination. It is nice to be a woman now and know we have come a long way towards equality at least here in the U.K. Not everywhere though.
