The cover itself is a complete juxtaposition to the powerful, emotional and authentic story kept within its hold. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this beautiful feminist novel, completely different to anything I have read before. Moving between points of view but with the underlying view from the eyes of Veronica Moon, I was immediately immersed within the story with history weaved in-between.
It was exciting, new and completely enlightening. I would most definitely recommend this story to women who are looking for something different and a story filled with power and hope equally.
I have already began telling other women about The Woman In The Photograph, with my best friend being the first person to borrow it from me. Even from my brief explanation which did not do the beautiful story much justice, they were hooked so I cannot wait to hear their thoughts after reading the whole thing.
