I'm intrigued by the premise underlying this book - there are plenty of novels about the power of female friendship but very few are plotted around the food. This could go either way - a tantalising taste of various dishes and their impact on the women's lives, or a sugary sweet serving of a romanticised friendship. Interested to know more...
