Well, firstly I can tell I am going to put on about 2 stones reading this book because the food descriptions just triggered so many cravings! Secondly, I love Kate's character already as she shares my two favourite hobbies, reading and eating. The only thing putting me off this book is the 'love story' element as I am not generally a fan, however the opening passage suggests that there is going to be plenty of wit and dry humour (coming from Cecily's character). This is right up my street and for that reason I think I can overlook the romance and really enjoy this novel.
