The problem with writing a first impression is that sometimes they finish too quick! This is the case with this one. It draws you into Kate's life, setting up the theme for how she ended up working and meeting Cecile and then it leaves you wanting. Kate is in her late 30s, thinking she's finally found the man she'll be spending the rest of her life with. But alas, life has other plans for her, as she gets dumped whilst on holiday, only a couple of week after Nick asked her to move in together. Talk about traumatic. I would absolutely love to see Kate's journey and how her relatioship with Cecile will develop. Such a good fun read so far!
