I love the gentle and humorous style of this book.
Kate's appreciation of Ann Tyler, Kate Atkinson and Donna Tartt means I automatically identify with her. I am interested to see how the story develops and the introduction of the character, Cecily. However I hope the book will not become one packed with recipes as I always feel cheated when fiction and autobiographies are padded out in this way.
