This book starts with a couple called Nick and Kate, they seem obsessed with creating the perfect hamburger and cooking it just so.
They decide to have a holiday in France,Nick has lost his job and they want a break, once over Kate is going to move in with Nick only while they are away he tells her that he doesn’t really want to just yet.
In the prologue it says about an old lady that feels she is bidding her time in a home, this also had a lot about food and I think that is probably going to be a running theme throughout the book.
Unusually for me I couldn’t make up my mind if it is a book I would like or not.
