A nice light read, perfect for a holiday read. If you love cooking then you will love the recipes which appear in the book too. It is a story of a 39 year old woman and a 97 year old woman and their unlikely friendship which occurs when the 39 year old lady decides to volunteer at a care home as she is going through an awful time in her own life. The 97 year old teaches her a lot, even when she does not want her too!! It has humour, sadness, laughter and covers how the woman feels being unmarried and approaching 40.I admit I did get a bit bored half way through as it was obvious that the ending would not be what you expected but would be predictable so that is why I only gave it 3 stars. I have read better and worse books so give it a go.
