What a warm hug of a book. Beautiful cover, well written, likeable and relatable characters.

Kate is stuck in a rut that I’m sure most of us have experienced at some point in our lives, her relationship is not fulfilling all her emotional needs, her job is OK, but she feels that she should have been somewhere else on the eve of her 40th birthday. Kate stuck a cord with me, and I liked her immediately, she’s the kind of girl you would love to have as a friend. Then in comes Cecily, a nonegerian lady who has lived a varied, interesting and fulfilled life. Together they strike up an unlikely friendship, one that will make both their lives richer.

This is a book about loving life, friendship and facing your fears so if you want more you can find it.

A stunner of a novel.
