Vicky Zimmerman has created 2 complex characters that work wonderfully together in this narrative. There is so much sass and humour, heartfelt reminiscing, daily life struggles and decisions, and above all: FOOD.
As a foodie I loved the emphasis that cooking and baking and recipes in general have in this book.
I have the warm and fuzzies after reading this and I’m so genuinely glad I have this book in my life.
I wouldn’t change a thing about this book, other than wishing it was longer.
It was realistic and relatable, but with fantastic moments that made it that bit more special.
