Charming and uplifting, this is a stunning story of female friendship as well as generation differences. It has beautiful insights into life as both Cecily and Kate’s friendship grows ever stronger. The characters are strong women and Cecily was such a witty and wise character that you can’t help but love. Her role in getting Kate to question her own life and her choices makes for a great read and I was left wanting to find my own Cecily.
This uplifting story was heartwarming and inspiring with a good dose of cooking and food as Cecily shares her recipe book and wisdom. If that’s not enough the cover is stunning and portrays the story beautifully making you even more drawn in- what’s not to love?
