This was a beautiful book, and not one I was expecting to love as wholeheartedly as I did. Despite the very 'chick-lit' cover and title, there are some exceptionally wise life lessons to be learned through reading this book.

The book tells the story of a woman whose partner has a 'wobble' about their relationship and plans for the future, and the tail spin she finds herself in as a result.
Enter the inegmatic and ascerbic Cecily, who lays some serious truths on our protagonist, namely about self worth and finding oneself without a romantic partner as the only point of reference.
Does she always take this advice? I couldn't possibly say, read the book to find out.
You won't be disappointed. This book flits seemlessy from an easy going novel to a cookbook written by someone who clearly loves food to a practical self help book. I loved it.
