The Woman Who Wanted More is one of my favourite reads of 2019. I knew going in that I'd enjoy it, but I did not realise just quite how much I'd enjoy it. I devoured this book in absolutely no time at all. It was the perfect read to break up all of the Fantasy and Young Adult books I've been reading.

Firstly, the cover is eye catching. It's a beautiful colour, the font and theme of the book stands out at first glance.

The plot was great, I found myself pulled in from the get-go and I couldn't wait to see what happened. The talk of food throughout this book had me fascinated. I wanted to try every recipe and dish mentioned, it all sounded super yummy.

I loved Kate, I thought she was one of the most real characters I've read in a while, but even she lost her shine when put next to Cecily. I found myself and people I know amongst the characters in this book, and I couldn't help but love them.

Vicky has a great prose and flow to her work, and I look forward to reading more of her works in the future.
