I was really excited for this book! I adored the cover and couldn't wait to start reading it, so was so happy when I won a copy! I felt I'd love the fun, whitty and foodie goodness that I had read from reviews and blurb, being a typical foodie myself and love stories that make you chuckle out loud.
It was a very slow start, but I felt her relationship predicament was very relatable and could feel the heart ache the man character did, but after the first chapters I had a lot of moments where I wanted to just put the book down and stop reading. Unfortunately, it's not a book for me.
I must admit though, the photos at the back of the book was a lovely touch and lovely ending. I'd like to give this book another read at some point, it may be more of a summer book or one for mum.
