This book took me by surprise!
This is not my normal choice of book and after reading the first few chapters I was a bit like 'meh, might be interesting'. WELL! Let me tell you, I LOVED it.
The way Kate and her situation are so relatable just made me continue reading, and cry for a few sections, I wont lie.
I did also really enjoy the character of Cecily, her sharpness and bluntness that come across as cruelness but are actually just looking out for Kate and steering her towards a better self. I loved how she told her stories to Kate and how much she loved Samuel. Makes me hope for a love like that, one to grow old with, hopefully.
I absolutley loved this book! Some parts were predictable but didn't detract at all from the plotline or storytelling of this novel! I would definitely recommend it to anyone!
