The book was really delightful and was truly beautiful to read. I really loved the characters especially Cecily. She was a very inspirational and heartwarming character. The book is about the celebration of food and female friendship, full of insights about life and the choices we make and the effect those we encounter have on us. The book gives an empowering reminder that life is full of opportunities once we are open to them. I loved seeing the pictures of the authors grandma at the back of the book and I was really impressed to see that the author had based the character of Cecily on her grandma.
