Wow! I found myself laughing, smiling, and then mostly crying at the end of this book - it was just stunning and I didn’t want it to end! It was such an endearing story of friendship, love, inspiration, life advice and, very importantly, good food! There was a real element of rawness to the characters and the story, I felt so engrossed and invested in both Kate and Cecily. As well as being a lovely story, I think that readers can take a lot from this book and Cecily’s approach to life. I also loved the fact that Cecily was based on Vicky’s grandma - the photos at the end were a lovely touch. A really refreshing read!
