Looking at the cover, I knew right away its something my little boy would be drawn to, children love books with animals. The illustrations are just beautiful, and well drawn. I love that they have also not used bright colours this suits the book very well from what I read in the first read. Reading the first read I liked how it will encourage children to know things are ok no matter what, its ok to be/feel different. Were a military family and the main part of the book was reading its ok to say goodbyes as they open up hellos... This would be a really good book for military children to have when moving houses in postings. I will be recommending this book once its out to our families support within the Military.
