I am a huge fan of illustrated children's books, but I found this excerpt of the book confusing - the illustrations were pleasant enough but not particularly notable or exceptional and there were just a lot of questions and statements to the effect of saying it's okay to ask why or say hello or say goodbye etc. I'm not really sure what kind of child this is targeted at but I can't say I find this particularly compelling messaging versus an actual story. The cover is much more promising than the contents of the books so far.
