The cover, and all the illustrations, are superb. The pastel shades and friendly animals and the "framing" of the animals with appropriate scenic backgrounds is interesting, makes you look, and is also comforting. The messages on each page (and it is messages not narrative) are designed to combat the various negative thoughts and self doubt that can afflict - and do afflict - all children at some time or the other. Without ramming it home, the book says that it is OK to have doubts and OK not to know everything. This is a book I would like to give to each of my grandchildren.
