I have real mixed emotions about this book.
The illustrations throughout are beautiful and my daughter absolutely loves looking at the animals and scenes created which is a huge bonus as it helps with getting her involved in story time. I also love the messages that are portrayed throughout the book specifically about the importance of being who you are and being true to yourself. There are also life lessons cleverly weaved throughout the story with my favourite being that you don't always win (which is a lesson my daughter needs!)
The aspect of the book that I struggled with was the flow. Unfortunately I struggled to get into a natural flow whilst reading it which made it more difficult than I had expected to read at bedtime.
Overall it is a nice book which is interactive due to the amount of beautiful pictures but I would have struggled without the artwork.
