This book is delightful, the cover is beautifully illustrated and engaging. I feel that this book is aimed at primary school children and would work well in a school setting for PSHE lessons; however, it is also a great book to read to your child or for a child to read on their own. A child and their animal friends go on a journey to find out things. Written in rhyme it has flow and rhythm.
It's about giving things a go and trying ones' best. It's also points out that if things don't work out the way you feel that they should it is alright. This is a powerful idea to take on board. Failure is something that we all have to learn to live with as we can't be right all of the time.
There are also underlying messages about sharing the world with animals and everyone which is also a lesson for us all.
