When I saw this I thought it would be lovely for my two grandsons. Just been reading it with them and the illustrations are beautiful and made lots to talk about before going back and reading the story.
One of my grandsons has a difficult time with not always being able to do things that others his age can and although you try to say that’s ok, it’s not always believed.
This book bought to life the fact that you don’t always get things right first time, like a giraffe having trouble standing on his big long legs, but it also says about how these things will become memories that you will look back on and can remember the good things that happened at the same time that made you smile.
This is a really lovely book and I’m certain that children will love to read and look through it but can also open things up for parents to discuss easier with their children. Recommend
