The world at your feet is the first book i have read by Karl Newson and i really enjoyed it as did my two children who are three and six. I would say it is aimed at younger children up to the age of around eight years old.
The story sends out a really positive message to children and shows them that sometimes we may not win or get to do things that we would like to but to never give up and we can get anywhere that we want to go.
There are some really beautiful illustrations in the book, which i feel i nice and calming instead of really bright and in your face, it really suits the story well. I like how the story just flows nicely together and also has a but of a rhyming vibe to it. We love all the animals in the story.
I would like the read more stories by this author as i really enjoyed reading it with my children and i think it will be a new favourite bed time story with them.
