The World at Your Feet with words by Karl Newson and the illustrations by Clara Angeanuzzi was loved by my four year old niece, and I feel it is going to be a new favourite she returns to again and again as her bed time read. As a childwho loves animals, she has so much to say about the range of beautiful illustrations by Angeanuzzi, even when not reading the story, and can stare at them for a long time and make up names and stories about then. Newson's story is also both enjoyable for young children and tells an important story about the world we are living in and their future world. The theme of friendship among the animals which are all different is also a key theme, and an important story for children to learn - that we may be different from those around us but we can all be friends and be able to celebrate each other for their individual skills, interests, and appearance. A beautiful book that she will get much enjoyment from and it has a gorgeous cover that will look great in her little bookcase.
