The World at Your Feet is a beautiful story in which we get to follow a young boy as he discovers he can be and do anything he chooses to and will always have friends by his side.
It's lovely how we get to see how caring and supportive the boy and his animal friends are with each other and I like that we got to see what seemed to be the boy achieving the impossible like flying as well as seeing that things don't always work out as planned but that shouldn't put you off trying again. This is nice to encourage the children and show that it's normal if you make a mistake every now and then.
The illustrations are beautiful and the children loved seeing all of the animals in the story. It was great to see them in their natural environments and showing the beauty of the world whilst also helping children learn about different environments and where the animals live. One of the children's favourites was seeing the gorilla.
