Cute little introduction to the book. It’s hard to tell how the rest of the book is from reading the first look. However, I am Intrigued to find out the whole story. I especially like the art work and the artists use of colours, they are soft and gentle, which helps it all flows through nicely. I also like the use of what, when, where, why? I’m guessing the author is trying to teach children how and when we use them, but not 100% sure due to the amount I’ve read. The last thing that stood out to me, is how they have tried to include some mindfulness/ mental health/ positive affirmations into the story. Highlighting, that it’s important for you to remember to be yourself. Which is really good, especially with supporting your child early in life with their mental well being. But it’s also great, because when parents are reading it, they are being reminded, that they should do the same.
