This book is full of positive messages for younger readers accompanied by beautiful illustrations. The book although not really a story as such is still engaging for younger readers with the animal and scenery images. This book would make an ideal gift or addition to a school library. The author has done a great job of giving uplifting advice to younger readers without trying to cram these within a story where they aren't always obvious or ruin the storyline. I would be very interested in seeing further books by this author and would recommend this book to friends and family. I think it is aimed at the very young and wouldn't appeal to older readers after more of a story book so think it is more suited to nursery/ reception age children, although this would be a lovely book to share with babies and toddlers too! It is just the right length to keep attention.
