The cover of this book is warm and enticing, the colours are wonderful and importantly kind. This story is inspiring children to explore life’s possibilities which is such an important message for children to learn as early on in their lives as possible. I am interested to see where the book may take us on the journey of discovery and learning from mistakes. This book is something as a teacher I would love to keep coming back to for the key messages it can teach the children. I think this book will be relevant to all aged children. I believe many children will engage with the fact that the books contains different animals and settings that aren’t like home allowing for comparisons between us and the character’s home. I am sad that I was only able to read a small section of this book and I look forward to the opportunity of reading more of this story at another time.
