I would like to start off by saying I love the art work in the children's book. Very vibrant and has a softness to it that is sure to attract the attention of young minds.
I like the messages conveyed in the book about it being "okay to be you" and that sometimes a "goodbye is like a hello". Whilst young children may not necessarily grasp the full understanding of the meaning behind those words, it helps to establish these thoughts and beliefs early on. This will allow them to better articulate themselves in the future and establish boundaries since they would've grown up hearing about it.
In conclusion I appreciate the deeper meanings in children's books besides it being a repetition of random gibberish. It gets them thinking and asking what this or that means, leading them to learning about complex ideas and developing their emotional intelligence.
