I read this book with my 6 year old daughter.
We really enjoyed the pictures of the animals and some of them prompted conversations which led to googling images if the animals on the computer to see if they looked like the pictures in the book. Her favourite was the armadillo.
This book had a lovely message about making mistakes and how the best is yet to come. I loved how that relates to children. It’s such a strong message to give our kids.
I also loved how it explains it is ok to not know. And to not know how you feel. Another great message to instil in our kids.
Illustrations were beautiful and we loved that the giraffe, monkey and zebra were on the same page as these are our favourite animals.
A lovely short picture book for children with important messages written within it. I would definitely recommend to open conversations with your children.
